In my dress consumption funnel I ordered some pieces from different ready to wear shops but the quality was often poor. I knew the kinds of shapes I like from Phaedra, and Deva worked with me to figure out what fabrics we could use, and what designs could work with them. The end result was a stunning two piece in a Japanese weighted cotton. I was so thrilled with the dress and felt amazing in it on the day.”

I loved getting married in my Phaedra dress. It felt great to be in, a lovely unique thing in its own right. The fitting session meant it hung beautifully and was outrageously comfortable - not to mention the pockets, every wedding dress should have pockets. The custom amendments were fun - Deva added a subtle dippy train at the back. The fabric is gorgeous - heavy and real - I wore it with a gold chain, some borrowed silk undergarments, and a fur scarf which made me feel incredibly expensive. It was also such a nice process to go to Deva's studio - tapping out entirely from the miserable wedding dress world. I'm going to dye it now, and wear it forever as my new favourite dress!
